There are many different ways to improve the performance & economy of your vehicle.  The methods we use do not make any mechanical changes to your vehicle, we use technology to make your car run more efficiently and increase the performance. 

Many people ask how this is possible & why the vehicle manufacturers dont do it.  The answer is that most vehicles are designed to be sold in many different countries with different grades of fuel & different weather conditions.  It's mainly temperature that is an issue as hot humid air will affect your performance - as will fuel temperature. All of these things are taken into consideration when building the car so they are usually set up with "middle of the road" settings so that the car will perform in all conditions. 

However, newer vehicle's emissions have a big part to play in how the vehicle is set up.  They are often set so lean to meet the requirements of a lower tax banding that they end up with flat spots low down the rev range. By altering the settings we can unleash it's true potential!

A surprising side effect of the increased performance is an increase in fuel economy!

There are many horror stories to be heard of people buying tuning boxes from ebay that cause all sorts of problems.  We also hear of DIY tuning companies armed with a laptop & dodgy tuning files damaging ECU's due to the fact that they do not know what they are doing!

When considering who to use to tune your car then you should ask questions!  Every good tuning technician should not mind answering your questions to put your mind at ease.
